People

Tidus starts off as a character who's friendly enough, but he's quite arrogant to be frank. The new people he meets and the old relationships he ponders about shape him into the person he eventually becomes.

Friends

• Auron: An old friend of Tidus' who helps Tidus when he gets thrown a thousand years into the future.
• Kimahri: A silent warrior who does not quite trust him; Tidus has a tough time getting Kimahri to warm up to him.
• Lulu: A beautiful black mage who Tidus has an even harder time getting to warm up to him.
• Rikku: A cheerful and upbeat young girl, the first 'friend' Tidus makes in the new world.
• Wakka: An athlete like himself, Tidus meets Wakka in the new world and is surprised at how quickly Wakka takes a liking to him.
• Yuna: A beautiful summoner Tidus meets in the new world who Tidus ends up being a guardian of.

Family

• Mother: We never really get a chance to know Tidus' mother well, but we do know she's a family-kind of person.
• Jecht: Tidus' father, a famous celebrity athlete, and also someone Tidus really wants to beat up one day.

Other

• Enemies: Well, it wouldn't be a very good RPG without some proper villians.
• Shuyin: A mysterious man whose life and appearance seems almost like a mirror image of Tidus'.
