epilogueI built this site on March 13, 2003, and it was originally hosted on Silent-Echo.net. After moving domains quite a bit, Dream Image has finally settled down on Royal-Hours.net. Though I adore Tidus like there's no tomorrow, I must admit, Final Fantasy X is not my favourite installment (FFIX is!) And Final Fantasy X-2 is always good for comical fun. Tidus was the first character I ever saw from any FF, and my first glimpse into the Final Fantasy franchise. I admit, I thought he was a very handsome CG character, and my curiosity got the better of me. Initially, I did not know that each Final Fantasy installment is indepedant from one another, and my original thoughts about FFX somehow involved Rinoa (yes, from FFVIII) being a damsel in distress and Yuna acting not unlike the Wicked Witch of the West. And Cloud was in there somewhere too. It wasn't until later that my friend kindly explained that each Final Fantasy is not a continuation of one another, that I finally began to understand the series. As the first character that introduced me into the series, Tidus is somewhat special to me. Not only that, but the poor guy just deserves a shrine. He seems to be universally loathed (I blame the North American localization of FFX). There are so many Yuna shrines, and Rikku shrines, and heck, nearly every character has more shrines than this blitzball athelete. And he's the main character. You know what they say -- if you want something done, it's best to do it yourself. So that's why Dream Image is still standing today, as one of the very few active Tidus shrines on the 'net.
